The time has come for our final morning in Venice. Having covered most of the sights the last three days, we decided to head to the northen part of the city where the Jewish Ghettos are.

That ends our various walks of Venice. In retrospect, Venice was the most beautiful Italian city of the trip and the (gasp!) cheapest tourist trap. There is nothing like Venice, nothing that is the Venice of XXX ever comes close. For lunch, we settled for pizza at a little pizza bar. Then, we went back to our B&B and left for the train station. We were headed to the lovely beach town of Rimini. It's time to take it easy.

Having arived in Rimini, we took a rather long walk to get to our hotel as it was on the other side of the train tracks!

After our nice meal, we retired to bed. Rimini is rather quiet at this time of the year as it is too cold for the beach. Tommorrow, we will be making a day trip to the Most Serene Republic of San Marino, the oldest surviving republic in the world in a medieval city.
